Colour Harmony

This implies that all of the colours are in sympathy with one another and there is no discord present. This presents a pleasing picture to the eye, and helps us to achieve a sense of mood. For example, harmony can be achieved by mixing all of your greens or greys with the same blue and by not using colours which will jar with others in the work, as well as on our basic optical senses. The most striking effects are achieved when harmony is limited to just the background, and the focal point allowed to stand out in contrasting colour and strength.
