Art In Penn Weekend 2011 will be held on 3rd - 5th September 2011
The preview evening for the Art Exhibition will be opened
by Reverend Brian Prentice.
The private previewing of the exhibition is for the sponsors, guests and artists and will be held on Friday 2nd September 2011 at 8.00pm
followed by the weekend in which over 200 paintings will be on show
in the Oak Room; also, members of the 3 Art Groups will be demonstrating
their artistic skills in the Church Hall, with a practical work shop
for adults, 3 seminars and demonstrations by
4 Nationally and Internationally recognised artists as well as a
marquee for a local arts material supplier, and a photographer who
will be using the latest state digital reproduction equipment.
The event will be open to the general public on the Saturday 3rd September
at 9.30am and close on Monday 5th September at 4.30pm. It will be
completely free for admission unless you would like to buy a programme. However, the primary aim will be
to offer the full weekend as a whole community-based event, for
all to enjoy.
