Art In Penn Weekend 2009 will be held on 12th - 14th September
The preview evening for the Art Exhibition will be opened
by David Evans - Principal of Pendrell Hall College on Friday 11th September 2009 at 8.00pm
followed by the weekend in which over 200 paintings will be on show
in the Oak Room; also, members of the 3 Art Groups will be demonstrating
their artistic skills in the Church Hall, with practical work shops
for adults and for the children, seminars and demonstrations by
7 Nationally and Internationally recognised artists as well as a
marquee for a local arts material supplier, and a photographer who
will be using the latest state digital reproduction equipment.
The event will be open to the general public on the Saturday 12th September
at 9.30am and close on Monday 14th September at 4.30pm. It will be
completely free for admission. However, the primary aim will be
to offer the full weekend as a whole community-based event, for
all to enjoy.
